Green- represents the agricultural and forested nature of Guyana; White- represents the rivers and the water; Gold- represents the countries mineral wealth; Black- represents the endurance of the Guyanese people; Red- represents the zeal and dynamic nature of Guyana.                                                                                                           Guyana was once part of the UK, but became independent in 1966. Guyana is the only native English speaking country in South America. The two picture above are the Coat of Arms for Guyana. There is a major waterfall in Guyana. It is called Kaieteur Falls.
